Lachlan McPheat is a New Zealand-born actor with a passion for authentic, character-driven storytelling. He is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, where he completed a two-year conservatory program and was awarded the Voice & Speech Award for his excellence in performance.
He has refined his craft under the guidance of industry practitioners such as Elena Stejko, Phil Brown, Lisa Mililo, and Jamie Irvine.
On screen, he played the lead in the New Zealand short film The Machine, while his theatre work includes Juror 8 in Twelve Angry Jurors and Jeff in SubUrbia. The latter drew praise during a three-week run at LA’s Odyssey Theatre, where his performance was described as “dynamic and compelling”, with BroadwayWorld highlighting his “lyrical precision and emotional weight.”
Lachlan is committed to telling stories that leave a lasting impact. Beyond acting, he holds a 1st Dan black belt in Karate and channels his creativity into playing drums and writing music.
