Kruze Tangira (Te Ati-awa/Ngāti Tūwharetoa/Whānau-ā-Apanui), is a proud Māori actor from Taranaki whose passion for performance has been shaped by his upbringing in a whānau of nine.

Best known for playing Tawhai in ATC’s Hyperspace, his screen credits include Ahikāroa and the upcoming series Blue Murder Motel. Beyond acting, Kruze has presented the weather on 1News, reported as a journalist for TVNZ, and commentator on Sky Sport.

A fluent te reo Māori speaker, professional athlete, and experienced dancer and kapa haka performer, Kruze brings versatility and depth to every role. Grounded by his culture and driven by determination, he continues to chase his craft with resilience and heart.
