Moses is the recipient of the 2023 Dame Malvina Major Opera Excellence Award. Born in New Zealand, Moses is a lyric baritone and composer, with his heritage stemming from the Pacific Islands of Samoa. He's 1/3 of award winning operatic trio SOL3 MIO and in 2023, debuted his first solo original album titled Grace, a contemporary composition of film and soul music. The album was a longstanding project he started when he was a teenager and it debuted at #1 in NZ on both local charts and international charts. In 2024 Moses performed the role of Dulcamara in the opera L’elisir d'amore in Italy with Taranto Opera, before performing the role of Raimbaud in the opera Le Comte Ory with the New Zealand National Opera company. Moses will then be a Voice Fellow to Opernfest in Prague 2024.
