Shane Cortese is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable performers with a multitude of television, film, theatre and music credits to his name.

Shane has starred in some of New Zealand's most popular dramas including, Outrageous Fortune, Nothing Trivial, Shortland Street, The Almighty Johnsons, Burying Brian, Legend of the Seekers, and most recently Brokenwood Mysteries.

Shane returned to New Zealand in the early 2000s, after a successful stage career in London's West End. Roles included Rocky and Frank 'n' Further in the New The Rocky Horror Show, Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and Young Elvis in Elvis - The Musical.
