Mckenzie was exposed to the creative industry at a young age, writing her own songs and posting covers on YouTube, she was discovered at 13 by a producer in Nashville, Tennessee. She travelled America recording, performing, writing with other songwriters, and documenting her journey through daily video blogs which she directed and edited herself. Gaining a large number of social media followers on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Instagram, she had over 1 million views on her videos and over 80,000 following her activity.

She decided to focus on finishing school and developing her songwriting instead of pursuing a music career so young, which she says is the best decision she ever made. Moving out of home at 18, she wanted to experience starting from nothing and making something of herself again. Landing a job at Rhythm and Vines in 2015, she worked as the Head of Social Media and In-House Design, proving her ability through her commitment and passion for the industry.

In the past year, she has been working at Flying Fish as the Front of House, volunteering on music videos and TVC shoots in production. With passions across the board in music, film, design, and art, Mckenzie is confident in front of the camera and is looking forward to diving into the acting world and digging her teeth into some unique roles and characters.
